1 litre of salted water (you can replace some of the water with white wine if you wish)
250 gms polenta
Garlic chopped
Fresh herbs chopped
When liquid is about to boil turn to low and add your polenta and stir continuously until it is thick cook a few minutes more continuing to stir, remove from heat and add your garlic and herbs. Transfer to a loaf tin and refrigerate. When cool and set turn out onto a board and slice into thick slices. It can now be browned off in a pan or on the BBQ. This dish is nice served with a tomato sauce.
